I know some movies occasionally use film instead (I believe it’s directors choice) but I’m wondering about tv shows. I really like the look of film, it’s also much better at preserving bc you can always get higher quality by scanning at higher resolutions if the norm goes higher and higher in the future. Also I believe it lasts longer in cold storage bc it’s a physical item and digital isn’t good for cold storage. But I also just really love the look of film and would love to know of any current shows that use it.
