I was watching the latest sandman season, and I realized it felt off. Then I noticed that they almost never have two lines of dialogue without a cut in between. Even if the characters are already in the shot, they cut to a new angle before the dialogue starts. Then I started noticing it in more and more shows. It just feels so completely unnatural, there’s no flow. Sandman honestly isn’t the best example, the most egregious was young Sheldon. But it’s most modern shows
