I’ve been watching a ton of old TV shows lately. Columbo, Quincey, and Chips. Basically, a bunch of '70s TV. It always amazes me how many stars appeared as guest stars on these shows. Each episode seemed to be jam-packed. It’s just something you don’t see much of these days, of course, episodic TV is basically extinct now. I really do miss these styles of shows. Now it’s all one big story arc spread across 10 episodes, where each season has a two or 3-year break in between. I really do miss 22-episode seasons where the next season was in production almost as soon as the current season was airing on TV. Granted, every now and again, you get a filler episode, but for many of these shows, you had some really great stories and acting.
