Before the latest season of South Park came out, they released a trailer. However, it turns out that Matt and Trey were simpy told they needed to make a trailer, so they just made a bunch of stuff up with no intention of following through on any of it, since South Park episodes are usually made in a week based on current events. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, I just find it funny.

This got me thinking, what other notable cases have there been of TV marketing being misleading? It happens all the time with movies, usually to hide certain spoilers.
