Haven’t watched a series in months but this had me glued to the screen for hours. The fact that it’s based on a true story makes it even more insane. I’ve been in this weird TV slump lately where nothing could hold my attention for more than one episode. Started probably 10 different shows over the past few months and abandoned all of them halfway through the pilot. Was starting to think I’d just outgrown binge watching or something. Then my friend kept pestering me about helicopter heist so I figured I’d give it a shot. Holy molly I demolished the entire thing in one sitting everything was just perfectly executed. But what really got me was finding out afterward that this actually happened. Like someone really planned and executed a helicopter robbery in stockholm and they did it almost exactly how the show depicts it. I spent another hour after finishing just reading about the actual case and comparing it to what they showed. The fact that they got away with it initially makes it even more wild.
Now I’m in that depression where nothing else seems worth watching because I know it won’t live up to what I just watched. Anyone have recommendations for shows that are on the same level as this one?
