Last week a good acquaintance reached out to several mutual friends and acquaintances asking for help. He and his fiancé split up and he had nowhere to go. My husband and I have a spare bedroom, so I was happy to extend myself. I know what it’s like to have nowhere to go and dude was straight up living in his van.

He lived with us for 3 whole ass days. In that time he completely ignored, challenged, or criticized every single thing that came out of my mouth. He ignored every single direction I gave him about how to interact with my highly reactive dog; constantly tried to undermine my authority with that dog which led to confusion for the dog; made arrangements to bring a pet to my house and then told me about his plans (he didn’t ask). But the absolute best one was the last day he was here. When he woke me up to ask me to crate my dog so he could bring his girlfriend over (yeah he’s got a new one of those the same day his fiancé left him,) which was not discussed before hand, cornered me into making her some breakfast, asked me for gas money, and then scolded me for not “cleaning up after my dog” because some toys and fluff were on the living room floor. I fucking HAD IT.

My peeps, I cannot stop being mad. I have never been this furious in my life and I cannot get over it. When my husband found out what happened he left work and came home to back me up and kick him out. I doubt he would have left without incident if my husband were not there. Thanks for letting me rant.
