Don’t get me wrong, I love this show. Rewatching this from start to finish and I’d forgotten how of it’s time it is. Mind you I am watching this from the eyes of a woman of colour with a vastly different upbringing in Europe.
That one episode in season 3 where Alexis’ old childhood friend comes to stay and they haven’t seen each other in years. She shows up as a goth and everyone is horrified. Castle rants to Beckett about how someone could do that to themselves.
