One of the cringiest things I've heard over the past year or so is that when people rather be unemployed than work at your business, your business is exploitative and should close down or raise wages. I absolutely hate people who say this because it's basically like saying if your restaurant can't compete with the government restaurant down the street who stole another restaurant's food and is handing it out for free, your restaurant is garbage.
Of course businesses can't hire people at $15/hr if government will give you $20/hr to sit on your ass. And people who say that people are tired of working for $10/hr and want more don't seem to realize that those same people were happy to work for $10/hr a year and a half ago before the government decided to be their source of income.
