Here is the story.

I pulled into a parking lot of a local establishment and on the way in I noticed a lady parked in a car which is parked on a narrow loading zone between to handicap spots, which mean she had two sets of wheels in two parking spots. I decided not to do anything until my way out, if I did anything at all. I went in and came back out after a minute or two. She was still there.

At this point I didn’t want to confront her directly so I walked up to the front of her car and took a pic of her license plate to call the police station and see what could be done. I did this because I didn’t want to confront her directly. She is alone and I don’t need any drama. You might ask, “Why bother?” Well, because there is an epidemic of people parking in loading zones or directly in handicap spots to run in and do their business and run back out. I have handicap people in my family and this bothers me. So I snap the pic turn around and start to walk off.

Here is the heat.

The woman gets out of the car and speaks to my back asking why I took a pic of her car. Not knowing the correct term I said:

Me: Have you heard of a citizen’s arrest?

Her: Yes. Why would you do that?

Me: You are parked in two handicap parking spots.

Her: (At this point she starts recording) Are you going to call the authorities, because if you’re not I will.

Me: Perfect. Please do. I will wait.

Her: Puts her phone away. You know I am nine months pregnant and I didn’t see the lines. They are pretty faded.

Me: You should pay closer attention then. (I point) There is an open parking spot right next to the handicap spot.

Her: You know. You’re just being a dick.

Me: You’re being a cunt. Do you think I care if your nine months pregnant?

Her: You know what…

Me: A cunt is a cunt.

Her: (look of disgust) Have a nice day.

This is where the dialog ends. I stand there and wait for her to back out. I walk to my car and she cuts through all the spots and gets a pick of my license plate.

I call the cops at this point because I need to get it on record if she decides to call the cop. She called the cops as well. The cop calls me back, I immediately apologize for the petty disagreement. He educates her as to can’t park in 2 handicap spots and he educates me citizen’s arrest isn’t allowed anymore. At most he would just cite her after he educated her. I said perfect. He said he told her not to follow up on the license plate by looking up addresses because it would make it all worse. I said great. Thx officer and have a nice day.
