(Sorry I’m on mobile) I see this all the time. A woman will say they’re scared of this happening in the comments of a video about men harassing women, and there will ALWAYS be a man replying with “lmao you don’t need to worry about that”- implying she’s so unattractive/unwanted that it couldn’t happen to her.
Why are they so desperate to shoot insults at women when it means defending abusers? I think that it could be internalized shame/embarrassment for being the gender that commits most of these crimes, but I don’t want to give them that credit. What do you guys think?
