I think Herman would come out strong and start 4-0 with a big win over Ohio State, but drop two in a row with frustrating loses to Florida and OU. He gives us a sign of life with “Oh crap, we’re still in this” after upsetting Georgia but then immediately drops one or both of the games against Arky and the Aggies.
As for SMU, I think Lashlee is better than Sonny and that departure will ultimately prove a net positive for the Mustangs. So without knowing as much about the ACC, I’d say SMU under Cumbie goes 8-4 in the regular season.
