I was driving home last night and stopped at a red light. I was looking straight ahead/at the light—it had been a long drive and I was honestly just focused on the road. I suddenly realized that the man who was crossing the street in front of my car had taken out his phone and started to film me. What the fuck?

I covered my face with my hands. He walked around to the driver’s side window so he could keep filming me. I rolled down my window just far enough to ask what the hell was going on—I am sure that some people would say I should not have rolled down my window, and I’m sure that’s true, but I was just trying to figure out what the fuck was happening.

The man explained to me that he started filming me because he thought I was acting weird. When I asked what he meant by that, he explained that he knew he was attractive and the fact that I wasn’t checking him out meant I was acting strangely.

Some men feel so entitled to everything about women, even our attention. Again, I’m sure some people will comment and say that he was probably drunk or high or something. That’s not the fucking point. There’s no reason for people to act this way.
