He is constantly making noises and talking over Kevin Kugler on every single big play. You might think I’m exaggerating if you haven’t had to suffer through a full broadcast with Sanchez on the mic. I noticed it last week when I watched highlights of the Seahawks/Rams game and then I was subjected to the full experience when the 49ers played the Rams this week. I put together a full list of every time Sanchez talks over Kugler during the middle of a play from the 49ers v Rams game yesterday.

It happened 20 times! This is some unprofessional bullshit.

EDIT: since I’m seeing a theme in some of the responses. I don’t mind excited announcers. I much prefer them to what Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit did last week which was completely soulless and detached. My point is that Sanchez needs to work on his timing with Kugler and reeling it in just a little. Greg Olsen is the perfect example - gets really excited about awesome plays but doesn’t step on the toes of his play-by-play guy. After re-reading the post I can see that I came across way more salty than I actually am.

Also, this post took me like 20 mins during a boring zoom meeting that didn’t need my attention. I was already watching the highlight package anyway.
