I really would’ve liked for Ole Miss to play Oklahoma State in the Cotton Bowl in 2023 simply because of the talent at running back. We still had Quinshon Judkins and the Pokes had Ollie Gordon.
I know I’m probably gonna get a lot of flack from our fanbase for this since we’ve played Oklahoma State twice in the Cotton Bowl (2004 and 2010) and once in the Sugar Bowl (2016) but it would’ve been an entertaining game in my opinion. And we know it would be an easy way to get a sellout crowd, I mean every time we’ve been to the Cotton Bowl we’ve packed the place out.
I also really like OSU’s Waving Song.
