I’m a huge futurism enthusiast and I remember as a little boy; a TV show on Discovery detailing a laser beam that could move the Earth into a different orbit. One of the scientists claimed (erroneously) that the tech to do that exists today.
Are there any things you remember that were really awe-inspiring to you about the future on the Discovery Channel?
