I was watching the new trailer for Peacemaker and right away at the very start you get this tired trope where the woman is smart, cool, and capable, (she catches the beer bottle effortlessly) and the man is clumsy and silly (he can’t catch a beer bottle after multiple attempts)
Seeing this bothers me because it seems like it’s almost never done the other way around. I seriously can’t remember a woman being the dopey clumsy punchline and the man being the smart, cool, and capable one.
