Binged it last week,
- That Ending was perfect, last seasons were clearly better, and show progressively gets better each season. Good Ending enhances the overall experience, even leaves you nostalgic for earlier seasons where the two of them were cooking in van.
- It has old tv structure and that works against it. You can feel at points that they are introducing subplots just to fill episode requirements.
- Overall arcs are perfect, I just wish it was tight. It gets repetitive at points.
- Characters act illogically at points, like Walt had so many chances to get out. And it was easily manageable to maintain a balanced life.
- It feels like they are intentionally making things complicated for themselves.
- Overall strong performances, strong villains, top class dialogues and drama, Film level Cinematography.
- I loved individual themed episodes even more, like the fly, peekaboo, 4 days. It was like it’s own short film within show.
- Lot of good subplots, like Jesse and his parents arc, Jesse and Jane arc, Gus backstory.
- They also got very creative with shots at points, like lot of interesting Timelapse shots, Montages, even comedy skits(like that undercover police buying drug).
Will probably rewatch sometime but really cool to be part of fandom now.
