So, I am 21F and I recently started my internship at this small office. People at my office are all interns mostly except for our associate. We have quite free environment. I was really shy at first but I decided to open up bit more and make connections. So I started participating in conversations during lunch and started to talk more in general. Now I get that sometimes I talk alot if it’s about something that I am very passionate about like astronomy or music or movies or anything tbh. I crack really silly jokes, like bad jokes but I like them.I always overthink about everything that I say or everything in general. But today something happened. So this colleague was sharing something about this guy that he knows and he looked at me and said don’t get mad but this guy just keeps constantly blabbering and it gets irritating. Now his don’t get mad made me question myself alot. Is it annoying when I talk? I don’t want to be the annoying one…But that’s part of who I am, I mean I can tone down my behaviour in office but does everyone around me feels like I am annoying?? Even my friends?? Will my future partner think the same?? Guys probably don’t like girls who talk alot ,will my future partner get annoyed too? Or he’ll just ‘tolerate’ me ? What about my family? Are they annoyed too ? Should I talk less ???
