Something that seems to be a common refrain in the left is the idea that all of our lives would be so much better if rich people never existed, as if they were literally taking food out of your mouth. The problem with this logic is that so many people have their net worth tied up in things that have little or no bearing on whether you as an individual can put dinner on the table or can pay the rent. People who made their living in the stock market literally are simply taking money from other people who are, at the worst, middle class and making uninformed stock trades that don't actually cause them to become poor.

Then, there are those whose massive net worth is in the company they helped build. Somehow, they create jobs and income for people, yet leftists think think these entrepreneurs are somehow negatively affecting people's ability to pay rent.

It's no wonder why leftists can almost never reason out why they hate someone who is successful and instead fall back to "their money should be mine!".
