Yesterday, my boyfriend and I were watching a movie. The woman was pregnant and I pointed out that it made no sense because her husband was literally old and dying and she was also past middle age, and I said it made no sense. He said she looked like she was 20 or 30. We finally had to look up their ages because he wouldn’t agree with me. The actors were 50 and 70 when the movie was made.
Another time, I was talking about how someone asked me about countries in Africa and I said Sudan and he literally looked at me like I was stupid and said “you mean Sedan?” and spelled it out. I said no and again we argued until he looked it up.
These things keep happening and I don’t understand. At some point it’s like he wants to argue just to argue. Even though I know I know I’m right.
