A discussion opened in my family about this video. If you don’t want to watch it, that’s what happens: groom feeds the wife some cake, then the wife brings a piece of cake to the groom’s mouth and then takes it back before he could eat to joke with him. He gets angry and proceeds to slap her quite violently, making her fall back on her chair. He also seems threatening and ready to hit again until a man behind him holds him back.

So, I don’t know how or why a WOMAN would say this, but sure enough, an older female relative said it. “She deserved that slap”. “She shouldn’t have brought it upon herself by embarrassing him”. “She’s stupid for joking like that”. And I was so shocked. And another relative agreed with her saying “but we don’t know the full story, let’s not just accuse the groom, we may wrong him”

Who in their right mind watches this and thinks the woman is at fault ? Who watches it and thinks the man had the right to slap her? It’s even more shocking to me that a woman would say such things. The worst part is I’m sure if my future husband slapped me in front of these relatives, they wouldn’t tolerate it. But they can’t seem to see women other than family as humans.
