Hi guys,

It is story you have probably seen plenty of times :

I had started a small project full time a few months back, and little by little I got drawn in and the scope started increasing.

At one point it morphed from just building one small sub-block but the entire system.

Originally this was just a small project to help me break into an industry.

But given the state of the project personally using it is becoming a realistic “plan B” in the event I can’t get the job.

Because of the nature of the industry this project is hard to replicated and gives me a competitive advantage.

So I reluctantly decided to close source most of the code base.

It fells like I am betraying part of my ethos but I also think this was the most rational action.

The project is a high frequency trading fpga targeting the nasdaq exchange.
