Alfie Holt, 20, has pleaded guilty to a single count of assault on Jack Grealish after April’s Manchester Derby, Manchester Magistrates’ Court heard.
After his arrest, Holt told police he was shouting abuse at City players, including Phil Foden, who ignored him. He then shouted, “k***head” at Grealish. Holt told police Grealish said: “You little, ugly w****r,” and he “flipped”, reached out, and slapped the footballer.
Holt, a Manchester United season ticket holder in the Stretford End, has been given a three-year Football Banning Order, and fined £120, with £85 costs and a surcharge of £48.
