Long story short, I came home from a long day at work feeling very tired and stressed. I sit in the living room, then my girlfriend comes out with our kid and starts trying to talk to me. I tell her to please give me space because I’m not in a good mood and that I’ll interact with them later. She doesn’t leave and then she starts talking about other things. At this point, I blow up and start yelling at her to leave me alone. She then got offended and walked out of the living room.
I never yelled at her in our entire relationship, even our son was shocked. Now she’s calling me an asshole and won’t speak with me. If she had only left me alone when I asked her to, then none of this would have happened. Am I the asshole? Shouldn’t she have given me space?
