  The local government refused $10 million in federal money for flood control and warning because, “Biden bad!” When they eventually accepted the money they gave most of it to the sheriff, the same sheriff who took more than 90 minutes to send out the first flood warning after being asked and four hours to respond effectively by which time it was too late.

  Hundreds of ore died because political dogma was more important than actually leading.
