Assuming each player is either in their prime or playing at the highest skill they’ve already shown (to account for Draft Classes featuring players who may not yet be in their prime), which Draft Class would make the most dominant team?
I think 2021 has a shot, but they’ve got some glaring weaknesses on defense (on the line and in Safety) as well as there really isn’t shit at QB except Trevor Lawrence. But does having Trevor Lawrence as your QB matter if he’s throwing to Chase, Waddle, Amon Ra, and Smith? Does it matter if he’s playing behind an offensive line made up of Sewell, Dickerson, Humphrey, Smith, and Darrisaw?
Or maybe 2011 has a better go of it, with standouts like Cam Newton, Von Miller, JJ, Patrick Peterson, Kyle Rudolph, Julio Jones, and AJ Green.
Or maybe a different era entirely? How would a 53 man team made of 1983’s class shake out in today’s league?
Whats your pick?
