I think most people would agree 2019 was the most stacked year in recent CFB memory

The Final rankings went as follows:

  1. LSU (Joe Burrow)

  2. Clemson (Trevor Lawrence)

  3. Ohio State (Justin Fields)

  4. Georgia (Jake Fromm)

  5. Oregon (Justin Herbert)

  6. Florida (Kyle Trask)

  7. Oklahoma (Jalen Hurts)

  8. Alabama (Tua Tagovailoa/Mac Jones)

Mac played the majority of 4 games for 2019 Bama so I included him as opposed to pure backups.

Burrow, Lawrence, Herbert, and Hurts are all firmly among the top 10 NFL QBs today. Tua is borderline but he is very much making his case after a really good year last year and thus far thru Week 1 this year.

Mac and Fields are still NFL starters. And Trask is a backup at Tampa.
