Aside from the 2025 AFC West, every division on this list is using the number of wins at the end of that season. The 2025 AFC West coaches will probably win somewhere in the vicinity of 30 games this year, so they might be able to get past 750.
Perhaps you’re asking about George Halas, since he ended up with a lot more than 208 wins. Well, Halas spent most of his career when the NFL was divided into conferences instead of divisions. There were divisions in 1949, in which he and Curly Lambeau carried the West division onto this list. The next time Halas was in a division was 1967, which happened to be his last season. His division (Central) combined for 430 wins: George Halas (324), Vince Lombardi (98), Joe Schmidt (5), and Bud Grant (3). For reference, when he coached in the 1966 NFL West Conference, those seven head coaches combined for 508 wins (Halas accounted for 317).
You may also be asking about Belichick only being on here once. The 2022 AFC East combined for 415 wins, the 2021 AFC East combined for 401, and the 2020 AFC East combined for 398, if that helps.
And maybe you wanted to know the fewest wins between head coaches in a division. Well, technically that belongs to the 1960 AFL East division. The AFL was just founded that year and all four of those coaches were in their first season coaching. Lou Rymkus (11), Sammy Baugh (7), Buster Ramsey (5), and Lou Saban (5), combined for 28 wins by the end of the season. But that’s boring. How about the fewest in a modern division? That would be the 2006 NFC North. Three of their four coaches were in their first year, so Lovie Smith (31), Mike McCarthy (8), Brad Childress (6), and Rod Marinelli (3), combined for 48 wins at the end of the season.
Note 1) The 2023 AFC West ended with Giff Smith as a (interim) head coach. He only coached the final three games of the season for the Chargers, losing all of them, so his career 0 wins don’t appear on the chart. If you’re curious, taking the 2023 AFC West only up through Week 15, thus using Brandon Staley instead of Giff Smith and removing the wins the other coaches got after Week 15, the division’s coaches would combine for 15 more wins.
