I was watching the Netflix documentary, “Titan”, and became distracted by two elements of the video editing. Whenever they would show archive television clips, it appeared that they used a CRT filter, and computer screens (including phones) appeared to use a low-res filter that made the pixels very evident. I could understand the artistic license if the source material was 15+ years ago, but this wasn’t the case. Is it just to emphasize, “This is from the past”, even though the past was 2 years ago?
