Why do coaches stand by their QB through multiple poor performances, but not other positions? I’m thinking of coaches like Ferentz and Drinkiwitiz. Both had QBs last year that were clearly not up to par for most of the season, but refused to bench them. Since the QB is usually the most important singular player, why do we rarely see them benched after ints, safeties, fumbles, etc? A RB fumbles we see them either benched or out for several plays, but hardly ever the QB.
