Here’s how I would have ended it. In the first episode have the front man’s brother find the island and get killed by one of the guards. The front man, enraged by this goes into the main room with a chainsaw and kills every single player in there, including Gi hun. And then, once everyone is dead Thanos comes out of the bathroom with a bandage on his throat where he was stabbed. He then says the “I’m a legend Thanos” line, before snapping his fingers which then disintegrates the front man like in infinity war. Then the old man from the first season, having faked his death for the second time comes in and announces Thanos as the winner of squid game.
