This is a very specific tip, but it will help you.
There are short after-credits scenes after the finales for seasons 1, 2, and 3. They are short, and streaming services will skip over them and go directly to the next episode, but they provide necessary context for the story overall.
So when you watch season 1 episode 10 “zero day,” and season 2 episode 12 “python pt 2”, and season 3 episode 10 “shutdown,” you have to go back into the episodes and manually find those end of credit scenes. Netflix generally won’t show them to you automatically unless you’ve changed your settings or something.
And stick it out in season two. It’s worth it.
