For me, they basically switched places. Maryland now plays Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue and USC whereas Notre Dame plays Clemson, Florida State, NC State and Virginia.
Strangely USC played Maryland in College Park the same weekend they would be playing Notre Dame in South Bend and at one point Maryland had a stretch of Michigan, Michigan State and Purdue similar to what Notre Dame use to have.
It was cool to see Notre Dame win the ACC in basketball too. Overall its created a fun dynamic as a fan as because I still see the same opponents as years past even if they arent playing the same team.
Ironically both played USC and Virginia last year.
Anyone else with a similar or stranger experience?
