Seems like a lot of the shows rn are showing these annoying privileged entitled people who are so fucked up (and can’t do anything about their messed up lives).

I bet there’s a lot more but these are just a few I’ve seen lately and it seems like a new genre now with how similar everything is.
I just finished WWL and I’m so pissed with the ending. They have these patriarchs in the center who have so much power and it’s just becoming this thing now in pop culture. These commentaries on wealth, always showing that nothing will actually change because these people have golden handcuffs.
Their actions have zero consequences. And seems like we as the audience are pulled in by this and yet made to feel desire and disgust at the same. I hate that I’m drawn to it and sometimes it’s brain rot (esp WWL) and I just find myself cringing that some people actually live like this, or want this.
Any thoughts? Any other bad” TV? (Please note I loved some of these shows)
