We’ve been together for almost six months. I’m on the fence because he’s so closed off emotionally that I don’t think I can depend on him when times get tough. Also, nothing I do is good enough.
My house is messy, so he says he needs to help me get it in order. My hair isn’t short enough. My teeth aren’t white enough and they’re grossing him out. He’ll help pay to get them whitened. I’m not loud enough during sex. I dress like a teenager.
I know I need to dump him because I’m happier alone than constantly hearing about my inadequacies, but why does he do this? If I’m so wrong for him, why doesn’t he dump me and find somebody with a clean house who has short hair and bleached teeth?
