Slipstream is a genre that pushes the boundary between traditional fiction and either science fiction and/or fantasy. It’s like a work of media that has one sci-fi element in an otherwise realistic story setting.

Can anyone think of a sitcom dramedy like Full House or an action police procedural show like FBI: International that had a slipstream element? Something clearly involving science and technology that is decades away from (depending on the premerie date) the shows assumed timeline, but just in the single episode?
