We all know Week 1 offers plenty of overreactions (Bengals, Steelers, and Giants are doomed; Cowboys are going to the Super Bowl 🤭), so let’s sort them out into four categories: fluke, fad, trend, or for real. Definitions for this thread:

• Fluke: It was a one-off that won’t be duplicated again.
• Fad: It will happen a few more times, but it won’t be the theme of the season.
• Trend: It will happen a significant number of times, but not for the whole season.
• For real: Expect it to consistently happen every week or almost every week.
