She is 29, she said she’s tried to have a number of times (different guys) and it just hurts her way too much and she has to stop. Men try to make it work, but in the they end up breaking up with her because of it.
She has been abused before as a kid, which she partially blames for her reaction when attempting sex.
She also has been to therapy several times.
She’s tried having sex with 5 or 6 boyfriends by now and she’s never been able to have real sex. She said even anal sex was easier when they tried it, but of course that’s not a realistic replacement.
Has anyone gotten over it?
All her OB-GYNs have told her she’s normal and there’s no sign of vaginismus, but from my research it seems like it’s more a psychological reaction that causes the muscles to tighten up.
I just feel sorry for her because she’s a great girl and guys understandably will want sex.
Her sex drive is fine, she said it’s getting even higher as she gets older.
Keep in mind she lives in a third world country and their doctors or therapists might not be the best.
