All the night scenes are so dark, I can barely tell what is going on. Hell, even the daytime scenes look somewhat underexposed.
Honestly, does no one own a light meter anymore? Have all the lighting directors quit, or retired? Are old school lighting rigs just too expensive to rent for the production nowadays?
I’m seeing this with more and more shows, where night time scenes are reduced to frames of unyielding, impenetrable darkness.
Or, is it me? Are my eyes finally giving out on me? Or is my TV just crap? Or on the wrong settings? There has to be an answer out there, please.
