While traveling on a bus, I, a 17-year-old female, had my badminton racket with me. A young child, approximately 3 or 4 years old, accompanied by her mother, also boarded the bus. Knowing that kids are often attracted to objects like rackets, I attempted to conceal it. However, the child noticed it and became fixated on it. She eventually began to approach me, and recognizing her intentions, I moved my racket out of her reach. This action caused her to cry, and her mother suggested that I allow her to touch it, assuring me that she wouldn’t damage it. Politely, I declined, expressing my concern about the racket(it’s expensive) and the risk of damage. Despite my explanation, the mother continued to press the issue, and I sternly said no and after that she kept passing passive-aggressive comments until I decided to exit the bus.

AITA?

i tried to correct it’s grammar using chat gpt since English is not my first language .
