What was the point of this? Like how did the Hollywood budgeting/accounting come to that choice.
This show getting one season, and then cancelled was the last straw towards Netflix’s heinous content creation policy for me in being interested in anything new they put out, but I cannot legitimately understand why a show with a $100 million dollar budget, where a significant portion of the season 1 budget went entirely to the creation of the puppets/props itself from Jim Henson Company didn’t at least get a 2nd season greenlit after all that work.
Just feels like an absolute shame in going through the effort in getting those beautiful puppets made to axe something that could’ve been an animation if Netflix’s leadership was only confident enough about it for 1 season.
