Hi, my name is Megan and I am 25 years old. I have an older sister, Susan, who is 27. While I love Susan, and she is probably one of my favourite people… I hate going on vacation with her. She is an absolute nightmare. And this is extended to going anywhere with her that will be overnight.
She brings too much stuff. If we are going overnight somewhere, she brings a full suitcase with like eight outfits. She seems to think that she needs options to look her best, and at this point, I don’t think there’s any fixing it because I’ve already got into arguments with her about it.
The problem is that I pack really late for vacations. I travel a lot, I like going hiking and camping, so I tend to be able to pack really well. I have offered to show her how to do a capsule wardrobe so she has tons of options.
Anyways, this is getting too long. The issue is that we went to my brothers wedding recently. We had to get on a plane. I drove myself, my boyfriend took my car home, so I didn’t realise how much stuff my sister had brought until I got there.
She brought three whole suitcases, full of clothes, for a four day event. And one of the outfits is already picked out for us because we are bridesmaids I brought a carry on bag and my purse.
She wants me to wait in line with her, put the suitcase under my name, instead of just getting through security and getting on the plan like I planned. I told her no, I was not going to do it, I don’t care if she begs or pleads. She’s going to have to wait in line with all of that stuff, I’m going up.
