Both shows were created by Scott Frank and it’s another great example of the engaging character writing that made Dept. Q such a good watch. Sadly Monsieur Spade flew under the radar because it was quietly dumped on AMC+ with little fanfare. Clive Owen plays Sam Spade and does a phenomenal job of headlining the cast. Definitely check it out if you’re looking for another show to watch after finishing Dept. Q
