Investigators in the U.S. use specific techniques to coerce women into recanting sexual assault accusations – and then are even sometimes charged (and jailed!) for making “false allegations.”
I highly encourage women, especially young women (who are the prime focus of this investigation), to watch this documentary and/or be aware of the techniques that can be used against them when they are at their most vulnerable.
The fallout, how the women are shamed and shunned, and even doxxed on police fb pages – for the “false accusation” – is equally shocking, heartbreaking, and despicable.
It’s on Netflix and first aired at Sundance. I just want to recommend that women watch this heartbreaking and enraging documentary. It’s on Netflix and first aired at Sundance.
