This is the shortest timeline of professional football halfbacks that played at the same time starting in 1919 that I could find. What I mean by this is halfback A’s and halfback B’s careers overlapped and halfback B’s and halfback C’s careers overlapped. It goes on like that for the entire timeline.
They must have been on a team during every season for it to count. Injuries don’t disqualify them, but not being on a team at all does. This is why there is a player that only played from 1940-46. Ken Strong played until 1947, but he didn’t played from 1941-44 because of the war.
All credits go to Wikipedia and statmuse. If I made any mistakes or you can find a shorter timeline or one that goes back even further, feel free to make a reply with that!

Should I do this with the rest of the positions? Which one should I do next?
