    I guess you didn’t get the witty sarcasm regarding beans as an original pillar of lemmy culture in the earlier days. I didn’t literally mean it was criminal, nor is this meant to diminish the severity of what the world went through with the pandemic. Relax a little man

  This was annoying but the sad reality that people turned into psychotic animals hoarding everything they could was much sadder. The people that caused these restrictions were the real criminals.

    Imagine how they hoarded here on an island, it was pathetic, yeah the rationing was necessary, people were trying to buy enough toilet paper to hold them for years 🤦‍♂️

  Supply chain issues was real friend. I also would like to thank Toyota for their unique “JIT” and companies that adopted the said production method.

    Actually supply chain issues regarding Toyotas were really low on our priority list here during the pandemic lol. We went months with no Bananas, no avocados, other stuff you would take for granted we just couldn’t get here on the island for certain stretches… But nice if Toyota did something innovative

    I live on a tiny island in the middle of the atlantic with almost no industry, and very little agriculture… Almost everything is imported here so you don’t have to tell me about supply chain issues, we have them here all the time covid or not. This was not a serious post, but it’s getting some wickedly serious responses
