So a lot of TV shows (particularly older sci-fi ones) have at least one episode where one of the characters is told that the entire show so far has been an elaborate hallucination or a dream or something. It’s invariably revealed that someone or something has been tricking them, and their adventures have been real after all. I was wondering if any TV show has actually commited to such a twist, and changed the entire show as a result? The closest thing I’ve found is The Good Place. Any other examples?
