About to attend my first Ivy League football game in a few weeks. Brown vs Harvard. Work travel has me in the area around the time of that game so I bought a ticket and plan to go and check it out.
While most likely not the talent-level of P5, would you consider the Ivy League to be up the same standard as some FBS schools? Or are they actually a bit lower than most FCS schools?
I once spoke to a guy who played at Western Michigan who had brother that played at Yale. When I asked him how good Yale was, he said that some of the best Ivy League teams could not beat mid-tier MAC programs. I was a bit surprised at this comment.
So where does the Ivy League actually stand in terms of the talent level? Curious for more opinions on this.
