I know a season season is coming, but it honestly feels like this show just sort of came and went. This is the first full Batman cartoon made by Bruce Timm since the original DCAU ended way back in 2006 (or Batman Beyond in 2001), and discussion of it ended almost immediately. Many didn’t like the changes to Harley Quinn (her costume or personality), making The Penguin into a woman, or the 1940’s setting and more focus on Officer Montoya and Barbara Gordon over Bruce himself.
I honestly wonder if Amazon will just end it after the next season order (which would bring it up to 20 eps total), since the two seasons were ordered at once.
