Why isn’t he?
Not only should a father be financially responsible for the cost of raising a child through support, but he should be responsible financially for the significant medical debt a woman accumulates during pregnancy and birthing. Also for any long term health consequences she suffers as a result of pregnancy. Not only does raising a child keep her from earning money, but medical debt significantly impacts her ability to live comfortable and afford a decent life for her and the child.
